One of my friends will be getting married soon. He technically hasn't asked yet and so she hasn't technically said yes. BUT he is ring shopping and will be asking very soon! It makes me excited. Anyway he is a big Lakers fan and joking suggested that they have a purple and yellow wedding. She wasn't too thrilled about the idea, but I think she is seeing it as an LA purple. I think if they did a Lavender wedding with some yellow accents then
it could actually turn out very pretty. Now this is the twist. They are going to be getting married in kin
d of a hurry so it will most likely be a late summer/early fall wedding which aren't really good seasons for lavender and yellow. But here is another catch. There have been rumors flying about them possibly eloping and just having a cheap, non-formal ceremony/reception party thing. They could have that next spring and I think it would be very appropriate to have bridesmaids and they could just wear little lavender cotton sundresses. With yellow tulips. And the bride in a white knee length wedding dress with flashy yellow shoes. And lavender (the actual flower) in everyones hair. Matching boutinears (Sp?) And a simple white cake with lavender and yellow decor. They could have it outdoors with lights hanging up and a DJ/live music whatever the
y preference be. They could even jokingly have a Lakers cake as the grooms cake. Or they could have cute yellow cupcakes. They could have a very short non-technical ceremony-Just for the satisfaction of having one and then a huge party. They would get tons of gifts and it would be a very memorable night whether they were already married or not.
